I have been volunteering with rescue since 2011. During this time I have helped process applications, complete evals, foster, and help with paperwork/computer work. We became involved in rescue after getting a Weim puppy, Avery. We instantly fell in love with the breed and don’t want to see any dog living in a bad environment. We contacted rescue to see what we could do to help, We are so proud to be part of such a wonderful organization and appreciate the opportunity to work with some amazing and caring people.
Avery is our “Weim child;” she was born in the spring of 2011. She is smart, funny, stubborn, loving, energetic, and beautiful. Her favorite game to play is hide-and-seek. We love to take Avery hiking; the woods and fields are her happy place. We also love the dog park and bringing her to the cabin, where she will swim until we force her out of the water.
Zach and I are very active, and love anything outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, hunting, and going to the cabin. Avery is always right along our sides during our outdoor adventures.
We live in the Twin Cities, MN. I am a Project Manager/Registrar with an amateur sports and meeting facility and Zach is an engineer as well as a firefighter.
